Turnagain Arm – Fully Exposed
May 2009 Hike of Turnagain Arm Trail starting at Potters Creek FEE area and ending at Windy Corner. Actually three trials (4 trail heads): Potters Creek to McHugh Creek to Indian Creek to Windy Corner. Later in summer there is less exposed scenic spots because of foliage – - but always some good overlooks of the Arm. Don’t let anyone tell you it’s an “easy” 9.4 miles. Moderate climbs and some exposed heights. But you can just do portions and not the full, combined trail, as well.
