Summit Lake Trail August 22nd, 2009
“The Hills Were Alive . . .” A couple of the people in the group that hiked to Summit Pass on Saturday pictured themselves like Julie Andrews in The Sound Of Music. It was hard not to feel like we were un some sort of uber-reality. The weather was great, the scenery was incredible.
We dined at the entrance to the pass, 4 miles in from the trailhead. After basking i the sun for a while, we headed back down. Soad to leave, but glad to have experienced the beauty.
